Captain Yankee is a well-respected WWII veteran and popular author. He was a spitfire wing commander in the RAF and shares this fine piece of history in his best-selling autobiographies. He is still actively involved in flying warbirds for an historical flying club in the south of Britain. He makes his way to and from the airfield on his Harley Davidson through the English country side at the ripe old age of 102. This fine gentleman is also a talented artist, specializing in the Aviation genre. His wife left him during the war, so he decided to spend the next 20years flying in Alaska before returning, to live alone in his country cottage.
